For safety reasons, we recommend that you adhere to the guidelines below when interacting with members on the Site:
Never send money or share financial information
Protect your personal information
Keep your conversations with members on the platform
Report all suspicious behavior
Protect your account
Never send money or share financial information
Don’t send money to anyone to anyone even if the person claims to be in an emergency. Don’t share any information that could be used to access your financial accounts. If a user asks you for money, immediately report it to us.
Protect your personal information
Don’t share your personal information with people you don’t know. Personal information includes data such as your social security number, address of where you work or live, information about your children (such as where they go to school, their ages, etc.).
Keep your conversations on the platform
Ill-intentioned users typically try to move conversations to text, email, or phone as quickly as possible. During the early stages of getting to know someone, keep conversations with users on the platform. When you are ready to move the conversations to text or phone, be wary of someone who will not speak on the phone or meet in person. This might be an indication that they are not who they say they are.
Report all suspicious behavior
Report any user that violates our terms, including these listed below:
Is underage.
Engages in inappropriate or harmful behavior.
Asks for money or donations.
Sends harassing, threatening, or offensive messages.
Sets up a fraudulent profile.
Protect your account
The Site will never send you an email asking for your username and password. Please let us know immediately if you receive an email asking for this. Pick a strong password and take care when logging into your account from a public or shared computer.
When you do decide to meet someone in person:
Meet in public.
Make sure that you’re in control of how you get there and back home.
Share your meetup plans with friends and family.
Don’t leave your personal items or drinks unattended.
Should you decide to become physically intimate with someone:
Find your sexual health status out.
Talk about your sexual health status, testing, and ensure there’s mutual consent. Don’t move forward if your partner is unsure, uncomfortable, or is unable to give consent for any reason, including being under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Don’t move forward if you are uncomfortable, in any way, shape, or form, about your partner’s health status or if they are unwilling to share it.
Use protection.
