Where It All Started
LTRconnect is the brainchild of Lindi Tardif. Born in Soweto and raised under the reign of apartheid South Africa for two decades, Lindi didn’t let adversity hold her back. She earned a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Laws, and a Master of Laws in tax degrees from Wits University and a Master of Laws in tax degree from Boston University.
Armed with her relentless drive to succeed, Lindi embarked on an international tax law career that has led her to work across the globe, from Johannesburg and London to Boston and Seattle. Her most recent work was in the tech industry with Amazon.
Lindi is passionate about authentic human connection and believes that building long-term relationships in the era of globalization should be easier than ever. Using her considerable experience in tech, Lindi set out to create a socially interactive, dynamic, authentic, and aesthetically pleasing platform that helps connect singles looking for a serious relationship.
As someone who grew up under a racially oppressive regime and is now living in the U.S. where the ideal of “equality and justice for all” is yet to be realized, Lindi is committed to making LTRc a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for all. She is passionate about and she writes extensively on racial and social justice issues. She has published a memoire, Daughter of Apartheid; fiction novel, Rookie, about the gaming tech industry; and articles that convey powerful messages about social issues, discrimination, some of the key reforms needed to dismantle systemic racism in the U.S., and reconciliation.
Lindi brings her go-getter and solutions-oriented outlook and broad corporate and tech experience to LTRc.
